A Modern Retreat in Cloverdale
Set amidst Cloverdale’s stunning vineyards, the “Poolside Rendezvous” project is a celebration of Wine Country living. We collaborated with our clients to design a luxurious and multi-functional space—a sophisticated poolside environment that serves as both a vibrant hub for social gatherings and a tranquil, peaceful escape.
The Design & Features
To bring this vision to life, our landscape design and build team focused on clean lines, high-quality materials, and a design that beautifully frames the breathtaking natural views. Every element was carefully chosen to create a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic. Key features of this project include:
- The Pool & Hot Tub: The centerpiece is a sleek, rectangular swimming pool that provides a refreshing focal point. Adjacent to the pool is an elevated hot tub with a custom wooden deck, creating a separate, intimate space for relaxation and enjoyment.
- A Custom Pergola: We designed and built a striking wooden pergola with modern cable railings that frames the hot tub and seating area. This structure provides essential shade and defines the space without obstructing the incredible views of the surrounding landscape.
- A Modern Water Feature: To add a touch of sculptural elegance and a soothing sound, we incorporated a modern concrete water feature with three distinct spouts. This element serves as a beautiful accent that harmonizes with the clean lines of the pool and hardscape.
- Drought-Tolerant Landscaping: The planting palette was carefully curated to be low-water and complement the natural terrain. We used a mix of native grasses and drought-tolerant perennials that add soft texture and color, ensuring the landscape feels lush without requiring excessive irrigation.
The Outcome
The result is a sophisticated and highly functional outdoor living space that serves as the ultimate destination for a poolside rendezvous. This project is a perfect example of our ability to create a luxurious, modern retreat in Wine Country. It’s a space that is not only beautiful but also perfectly suited for the environment, providing a true sanctuary for a life well-lived.
